The First Post

I have 3 primary reasons for starting this blog:

1. Apparently this is what people do when they go abroad.
2. People have been asking me "how's Italy?" and it seems this is the only way I can provide a legitimate answer without leaving anything out.
3. I have been instructed to "journal," and since I don't write things out this is how we're gon' do it.
